Building secure, reliable identity systems for 350M+ users at Indeed wasn't exactly my career plan when I started. But I quickly discovered something fascinating: identity and access management sits at the heart of everything a company does, and the technical complexity is endlessly interesting.
Over 9 years, I've evolved from adding Google login to Indeed to re-architecting our entire authentication, authorization, and identity infrastructure to align with industry standards, while leading cross-org efforts dependent on our identity platforms.
What drives me daily is building systems that are highly reliable, secure, and seamless—the kind that everyone depends on but ideally never has to think about. The future of IAM excites me as we move toward open standards, passwordless authentication, and autonomous agent representation.
